July 4th is the perfect time to get creative and serve up all kinds of red, white and blue snacks and treats! I’m no Martha Stewart (far, far from it) but I do love pulling together a great theme party as easily as I can. All of my favorites are incredibly simple to pull together. So simple that you’ll get the idea through the pictures posted here—no recipes necessary!
July 4th Snacks
Work with what you find on the shelves of your grocery store. Blueberries, raspberries and strawberries are the easiest go-to’s this time of year. Sometimes it’s not the color but the arrangement of the food that sparks the 4th of July spirit.
July 4th Desserts
I bow to those who love to bake–it truly is an art form. If this is you than food coloring and your imagination are your only limits. For the rest of us, store-bought goodies can easily be doctored up to join the party.
Serving in Style
If creative food really isn’t your thing, try serving up your July 4th snacks and treats in festive bowls or trays!
Whatever your plans for July 4th, be creative, have fun and be safe!
